Service Description

*PMU* (Permanent Makeup) commonly refers to "Permanent Makeup," which is a cosmetic technique that involves the application of pigment to enhance or recreate features that are typically applied with traditional makeup. Also known as micro pigmentation, PMU is a form of tattooing and is designed to provide long-lasting results. Here are some key aspects of Permanent Makeup (PMU): Procedure: During a PMU procedure, pigments are deposited into the dermal layer of the skin using various techniques similar to tattooing. Common areas for permanent makeup application include eyeliner, lips and also (eyebrows) Eyeliner: Permanent eyeliner can be applied to enhance the eyes, providing a defined and long-lasting eyeliner appearance. Lips: PMU for the lips can involve outlining and filling to enhance lip shape and color. This can be chosen for aesthetic reasons or to address issues such as faded lip color. Eyebrows: PMU can be used to define, reshape, or fill in eyebrows. This is often chosen by individuals with sparse or uneven eyebrows. Areola Restoration: In some cases, PMU is used for areola tattooing to recreate the appearance of the nipple and areola complex after breast reconstruction surgery. Scar Camouflage: PMU can also be used to camouflage scars or areas with pigmentation irregularities. Results: While the term "permanent makeup" is used, the pigments may fade over time due to factors such as sun exposure, skin type, and individual variations. Periodic touch-ups may be needed to maintain the desired look.
